General Manager: Luke Jacobs
Luke joined EAT Restaurant Partners in April of 2017. He has been in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years, 15 of them as a manager. Luke knew from his first shift as a server that the hospitality industry would be the perfect fit for him. In 2005, Luke graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's of Science in Hospitality Management. As General Manager, Luke's focus has always been on building a great team of associates that are passionate about people and food. Since moving to Richmond in the summer of 2014, Luke and his wife, Michelle, have become raving fans of the craft beer scene in Richmond and the surrounding areas. They can often be found on a Sunday afternoon sampling one of the new seasonal beers at a local brewery, enjoying some live music, or walking the trails in the Shenandoah Mountains.
Assistant General Manager: Chase Gauman
Chase came to EAT by way of corporate management through Best Buy, and couldn't be happier to have left the hustle and bustle of a big-box-store. A graduate of VCU in Richmond, VA with degrees in both Business Administration & Management and Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management, he always knew hospitality was the path for him. A background in construction project management lent to him helping to physically build out Fat Dragon in 2012 before coming aboard full time - and he's loved every minute since. From Fat Dragon to The Blue Goat, and now at Osaka Sushi & Steak; Chase has a deep appreciation for the intimacy and personal connections that family-oriented, people-forward restaurants like those that EAT boasts has allotted to him. A graphic designer, musician, PC builder, and paid professional gamer in past lives - he dabbles in a little bit of everything; yet one trifecta has always stuck with him... good food, good wine, good friends. Sláinte!
